Student Dress Code

2008 – 2009 UNIFORM POLICY

 

Madison Middle School has a mandatory school uniform policy. Uniform retailer information may be obtained from the school.

*UNIFORM:

Tops: Collared Polo style shirts are required. Colors are gold, red, or white.

NOTE: Shirts may not contain writing and must have a collar. Additionally, shirts that are worn inside out are not allowed.

Bottoms: Colors are Khaki ONLY. Long pants, knee-length skirts, and skorts are acceptable (NO SHORTS OR CAPRIS).

Boys must wear khaki colored long pants only.

Girls must wear khaki colored long pants, knee-length skirts, or skorts only.

Jackets and Sweaters: Jackets and Sweaters may be worn, but must be solid colors in the school colors (red or gold) or a uniform sweater or jacket.

Shoes: Students' footwear must adhere to school policy, which states: no clogs, thongs, flip-flops, sandals, or other shoes without back straps. No taps on shoes allowed.

Note: No capri pants, cargo shorts, regular shorts, or bermuda shorts can be worn to school.  Students are not permitted to wear oversized pants, sweat pants, lycra, spandex, jeans or oversized shirts of any kind. In addition, No hats, doo-rags, scullies, bandanas, or other headwear are to be brought to school or worn except those for religious purposes.
